The War In Iraq

George Bush gave this speech to the American people keeping them from worring about the war. Telling the people that armed forces of the United States are at war in Iraq. By doing so, its bringing safety to the American home, and would help succeed in the fight against terror. About one year ago he addressed that nearly 12 million Iraqis voted for democratic nation which ment the war would stop. But the opposite happened the violence in Iraq overwhelmed the political gains.

This makes the people trust Bush in his words, and feel good about them selfs knowing there is soldiers fighting on the line of duty to bring them peace. Former president Bush said, "Tonight in Iraq, the armed forces of the United States are engaged in a struggle that will determine the direction of the global war on terror and our safety here at home"(2). Well the american people believed this because they heard it from the president himself. Bush is saying that the army is doing everything in there power to overcome the forces of terrorism. By doing this movement the people are going to realize that this move is going to hurt us as a country.

Former president Bush was sometimes believable, and sometimes not trustworthy. When Bush was elected people, and I were in his favor because the things he said he was going to do for us. And years passed with the same problem the war in Iraq he said he was going to end the war. And us Americans believed him until one point we got fed up with him, and wanted him out of office. After saying all that and noting happening, or progressing we were at war for oil not to free us as he said. The people started to wonder , and wanted him out as soon as possible
